  1. I was diagnosed with superior meseneric artery syndrome about two years ago!!! I was diagnosed via barium xray. It was a nightmare. At the time, I was only able to go to the bathroom once a month. I was 5'7 and 83 pounds. Since then, I still have awful pain, awful peristalsis, and awful food allergies. I have gained a little weight, but I am still...
  2. Would you mind sharing some of the food products that you consume? I have the same allergies that you have (plus a whole load of others, like eggs, dairy, certain animal proteins etc etc), and I have the hardest time finding products like milks, cereals, and things of the sort. I'd love to compare notes!
  3. Update: I ate it, and I'm still debating on whether or not it was safe or cross contaminated. My stomach isn't thrilled, but it could be due to something else. So I bought a different brand at Whole Foods last night. I bought the 365 version of coconut milk. Anyone try that? Anyone know if it's produced on a dedicated line?
  4. According to the label, "A Taste of Thai" 's coconut milk is free of all allergens. This was good news for me, because I have a ton of allergens. I'm worried that since A Taste of Thai does produce products that have gluten, soy, peanuts and corn, that this product may actually not be safe. Does...
  5. Thank you so much, that was SO helpful! I'm going to try the orange fleshed potato (not sure what to call it now, haha) tomorrow!! Thank you to janet as well...you two really helped me to figure that one out
  6. So, every night I eat 1 pound of sweet potatoes. My diet is so limited and I'm so sensitive that I have to eat the same thing every day, in mass quantities in order to keep weight on. I know that this is a problem, so I wanted to slowly try to diversify things. I've tried this before and I always fail, but I want to give it one last shot. Sweet potatoes...
  7. Hi everyone, I've got a pretty bad case of malabsorption and chronic inflammation in the gut (major constipation issues), and I'm very underweight. My BMI is around 16. I'm unable to take in much animal protein or fat since both tend to send me into constipation and then malabsorption, so my doctor recommended "Seacure". Has anyone tried it, or had...
  8. Hey everyone, To cut a very long story short, my GI tract is a mess. I have an unspecified Inflammatory Bowel Disease where I get severely constipated and go into malabsorption. This is triggered by so many food allergens and sensitivities that I have had to resort to eating the same thing nearly every day. I can't tolerate gluten, dairy, most gluten...
