About Me

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2001 after at least 10 years of suffering with the symptoms. I struggle every day to maintain a Gluten Free diet. I am a flight attendant and a commercial real estate consultant. So traveling and stress are my two bigges challenges.

So far no one in my family has admitted they have Celiac Disease, although I can tell you there are lots of symptoms that would indicate otherwise. I truly believe my mother had a very advanced case of Celiac Disease that was never diagnosed before she passed away 6 months after my diagnosis. Her doctors refused to test her for the disease! I encourage anyone and everyone with any of the symptoms to check with their doctors and ask for tests to prove they don't have it!

I am married and have a lactose intolerant husband, so cooking in my household is a challenge.
