I have been a "Floridian" for 12 years and a "Brevard County Mom" for nearly 7! Life is all what you make it and each day I try to make mine better.

I've gotten involved with this site to connect and do some research for an upcoming venture I'm looking to do. My son was diagnosed last year as "Gluten Intolerant". He can't eat any regular flour, no wheat, barley, rye etc. Needless to say it has been challenging getting a 7 year old to realize he can't have Pizza Hut anymore! However, he has done great and I am always seeking new ways to make food fun for him! My ultimate frustration is not having a great grocery store to shop in where I know the food we love will be there every week. Also, the lack of eateries for those with allergies is disheartening. Hence the creation of my concept!

I am hoping to open a new market/cafe in Melbourne and am looking for feedback. We will carry gluten free, peanut free, wheat free, dairy free just to name a few. In addition, I'm hoping to provide a kosher section. My hope is to find some demographical information as it relates to those out there with food Allergies!

Given the state of the economy no business owner wants to start up unprepared or unarmed! That's where you come in....I would like to get a feel for those that have a need for these types of products and who shop regularly for them. So I ask your help in getting the word out. Talk to your friends, neighbors, co workers and relatives! EVERYONE!
