I have been trying to get an answer to the following question but have had no luck. Most of the research on celiac disease or GI was done after the 1950's when gluten was discovered to be the culprit in Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 1943 and apparently had it for 8 years. At that time, my family was advised that I was "cured"....
