my doctor ordered a blood test, an endoscopy and a colonoscopy and told me that there are no tests to find food sensitivities. basically that it's a process of elimination. is this true that food allergies/sensitivities cannot be tested? also, is a blood test the way to detect celiac? i would greatly appreciate any information anyone has that will help...

thank you for replying to my original post. i had my appt this morning and the doctor ordered an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. he said he doesn't think i present with celiac symptoms, but also ordered a blood test to be sure. i asked if certain foods could be causing my problems. he said it could be food, but that there are no tests to check for food sensitivities...
