  2. It seems like every single person who sends samples to Enterolab gets a positive result on something. Does anyone know of anyone who has gotten a completely negative result from them? It seems a little strange that they find something in every single person they test. Just curious
  3. Hi My doctor ordered a ttg test to test for celiac. When I went to the lab there was cost involved so she told me she could do IgG, IgA and IgM instead and it would test the same thing as those are covered. From what I've read those are generic antibody tests - not specific to Celiac. I've come across stories of positive / high results for those that have...
  4. Hi, I am not yet on a gluten free diet as I am just in the testing / diagnosing phase but it will likely head that way at least as a trial in the near future. I have never really dieted or watched too much what I eat and the prospect of being gluten free seems completely overwhelming and impossible. I looked some lists on here and there are hundreds of ingredients...
  5. Thanks for the replies. I saw the doctor today and she ordered ttg. The other tests aren't covered so she said to do this one first and if it comes back + then no need to do the others. She was willing to refer me for a biopsy as she said that is the only way to be sure but we decided to see what the ttg result is first. She was more than willing to help...
  6. Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis about a year ago. I have been euthyroid (good labs) for months with almost no relief in symptoms. the lupus / arthritis / hormone panels all came back normal. My GP and Endo both say nothing I can do but 'hang in there' and hope the antibodies eventually die down. I am more focused on finding a fix as my life...
