Thanks for sharing all that... I'm new to this too and so eager to learn. My iga comes back negative too, and I don't know if the GI will even allow me a biopsy with the negative results. I am going to beg for one because I am having mixed response to the diet too. I thought it made a big difference, but I am miserable tonight, and almost positive that... -
I have been reading as much as I can since being directed by a naturopath to go gluten and diary free for an 8 week elimination diet. I have had the blood panel done 2 times in the last couple of years - it comes back negative. I really want something more difinitive than 8 weeks of hoping I've hunted down all the gluten in my life, and then just seeing...

I also have the same question - can you have celiac when the blood teat comes back negative? I have already started the diet and my chronically irritated gut has calmed down and the diarhea has lessened. I want an endoscopy, but would this be counterproductive considering I have been on the diet for 2 weeks already and don't see the GI until the 20th...
