  1. I been diagnosed with Celiac and living Gluten Free for about a year. Ive been doing very well on a gluten-free diet, and while having been contaminated a few times, Ive had no incidents in nearly 6 months. Tonight, for a couple of reasons, I decided to purposely contaminate myself. I had real pizza for the first time in over a year. It was the most wonderful...
  2. Im in the same boat too. Been gluten-free for a little over a week, started feeling better, now feel horrible. If feels like ive been glutened, but I have been going out of my way to eat things that are specifically gluten-free (at great expense I might add). Its very discouraging. I thought I would be done with this crap.
  3. Oh yeah, I definitely eat other things, its just that I am coming from a near 100% Junk/fast food diet, so this "healthy" stuff is foreign to me. Lunch is usually some sort of chicken and rice dish, along with some gluten...

Blookwork came back showing celiacs, and he sent me to a Gastro. The Gastro did an endoscopy and biopsy and found no signs of celiacs. He went in and repeated the endoscopy going further down the small intestine...
  6. It sucks that I have to purposly keep hurting myself now that I know ways to avoid it. My consult with the gastro is a month and I'm sure it will take a month or so after that to schedule the endoscopy.
  7. Wow, im in nearly the same boat. Im a 28yo father to an 16mo old. For about 8 years ive had stomach issues. I chalked it up to lactose intolerance, but avoiding lactose didnt completely help, and im a big fan of ice cream so I just suffered the effects. About a week ago I was at the doctor for a physical and mentioned the 8 years of chronic diarrhea...
