  1. Hi. I am a vegetarian too and like you, do not have an actual confirmed diagnoses. My results were inconclusive, but I know that I am gluten and lactose intolerant. If I have the slightest miniscule amount of gluten I am sick for at least 12 hours. I am pretty new to this, but so far I have been eating a lot of fruit, vegetables, beans, quinoa, dried fruit...
  2. Hey everyone, I just had my endoscopy this afternoon. My mom told me that the doctor said everything looks normal. The nurse told us that usually she expects to see at least inflammation in the intestines for Celiac. How many people here have had a totally normal looking intestines, no inflammation or anything and had a positive biopsy result? Also...
  3. Wow, great suggestions. I'm so thankful for this thread. I am having my endoscopy/ starting the gluten-free diet on thursday. I'm away at college but will be coming back to San Diego for part of Christmas break and this was helpful. I have been planning on going shopping at Jimbo's in 4S Ranch-IF taking the "back" roads its like 20 minutes away. I love Jimbos...
  4. Hey all, I have my endoscopy in a week and a half and then will leave for Lake Tahoe the next day. I wanted to start a gluten-free diet right after my endoscopy, but I know that my family will be mostly eating out at restaurants. Does anyone know of restaurants in Tahoe with Gluten Free options? Thanks!
  5. Thanks! I'm new to the website and didn't know there was a restaurants part. I will definitley do that.

I really wish I could just start the diet now. I didn't think about the fact that I wont feel completely better during the trip either way because I won't heal instantly...
  7. I'm in the "in-between boat" at the moment too! I have negative blood tests, but I have an IgA antibody deficiency that causes false negatives. I have my endoscopy in a week and a half, but I just wish it was today. I want to start the diet to see if it helps. I am so done with all this. My first week gluten-free will be on a vacation so I am totally thinking...
  8. Hi my name is Shelly and I need some help. I am a college student who has been having awful stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, gas, weight loss (specifically muscle loss) joint pain ect. Ive done the whole misdiagnoses thing for a few years, but recently I went to a new GI doc and he seems pretty confident that I have Celiac. I guess I had...
