I am 2 years gluten free and still crave it now and then. It is very addictive and hard to get over. When you eat gluten little bits and pieces of unprocessed gluten (called peptides) enters your blood stream and reacts with the opiate receptors in your brain. It mimics the effects of narcotics such as heroin and morphine. Casein in milk does the same...
