My son had blood in is stool before going on the gluten-free diet. The doctors said that it is definitely a symptom. So did my mother-in-law, now that I think of it.

Question, is undiagnosed gluten intolerance what causes someone to become a celiac. Because there body got so damaged by the gluten that it turns into Celiac. My mother in law is a diagnosed celiac. She almost died of celiac 6 years ago. They thought she had lupus, cancer, etc, etc, and so on.
