  1. Its incredibly embarrassing but at long last I discovered why I was not losing weight: I was eating too much! At the end of the day it came down to calories calories calories. I saw a nutritionist who said I was eating incredibly "clean" - as if I was on a detox! - and the only reason for any weight gain had to be that I was taking in too much food. ...
  2. So its been over 3 months of being strictly gluten free and my symptoms - mainly bloating and inability to lose weight - are worse than ever. I'm beginning to think that I'm not gluten "intolerant" at all - despite a high IGA bllod test result. Or at the very least there's clearly something else going on. I don't feel any better since removing gluten...
  3. Thank you all so much for your replies. Been eating a lot of Larabars and other such gluten free bars but I realize I've been eating too many corn and rice-based products. Have to cut them out for sure. Thanks again and I'll report back soon!
  4. I long suspected I had a gluten sensitivity and had blood work done about 3 months ago. The results came back and my MD told me they show a gluten sensitivity and to stay off gluten completely for at least 3 months. I haven't really gotten a straight answer from my doctor about how the test works and what my level actually means. Would a higher result...
  5. I've been vegetarian for years, eating unprocessed foods, low carbs, etc. Did extensive food allergy testing and there are no other allergies. Soy and dairy don't seem to be a problem. But maybe... I'm 100% positive about the food I'm eating but not about my cosmetics and things like that. My doctor didn't think my intolerance rose to that level. Perhaps...
