I have just gotten back results from Enterolab for my daughter saying that she has two HLA DQ1 subtype 6 genes. I am confused about what this means. She showed intestinal damage, as well as gluten sensitivity. I don't understand the difference between the DQ2, DQ8 and DQ1 genes. Can anyone help me with the difference? I don't understand the difference...
