  1. Hi there, I do have a confirmed blood panel for Celiac's. What I really really want is to have a complete blood work done to find out what Vit/ minerals my body is lacking. Even if the dietician is not all that it is cracked up to be, I will still have a copy of my bloodwork to work with. That will be my key to health. It's stabbing in the dark...
  2. Hi there, Maybe, you should ask your doc to run a full panel bloodtest for Celiac disease. I am kinda new to all this myself, but from what I have been reading, some Celiacs also have problems with the nightshade family, potatoes, tomatoes, etc.., and from gums. Gums are used in alot of Gluten free baking as a thickener. Maybe you should try not eating...
  3. Thanks for your reply Nora, My family doctor told me to start a gfd immediately after blood tests, I did that for 1 week, during this time I did some research of my own and realized that I should maintain my regular diet and switched back to eating gluten. If I should be eating 1800 cal/day and I am eating 3000 b/c of my extreme hunger and cravings from nutrient deficiencies...
  5. I have the teeth falling out dreams, the lower jaw been detached dreams, and dreams where my hair keeps falling out too. I do grind my teeth, I have a nightguard, but I still have the dreams. My hair falls out at an alarming rate, it used to be thick and wavy and care-free, now not so much, and talk about unmanagable! I have not gone gluten-free yet...
  6. Hello everyone, I am so glad to have found this group. A few months ago I developed a sudden lactose intolerance which led my doc to the Celiac bloodwork which was very positive, he also tested for Anemia, so I am officially an Anemic/Celiac. My doctor simply said to go gluten-free, made me an appointment with a so-called dietician, prescribed...
  7. My two thoughts are as follows: secondary lactose intolerence, very common with Celiac Disease or guar gum (or any gum) allergy. I have personally noticed that since switching to gluten-free foods I still had some negative results with the new diet. Cottage cheese nearly killed me!!! I started looking at the gluten-free products very carefully and alot...
