A little over a year ago I develop and extremely itchy rash I tried to self diagnose and changed every product I was using. It didn't work. I went to the doctor and they said it was Contact Dermatitis, they thought I was allergic to elastic. They gave me steroids, and set me up with a dermatologist. First we did a skin allergy test and found I was highly allergic to nickel which I had told them but they put it in the test anyway. Then they decided it was a bad eczema flare and I got more steroids and Vistiril for the itch... it came back... it came back... for a whole year I itched myself crazy and one night at work it spread over my whole body and I went back to the doctor

It took me a year to find out what the rash was from with many differant diagnoses. I was completly misrable it iched like mad I thought I was going to go insane! Finally one of the PA's at my docs office suggested I see a naturopath and she put me on diet elimination and wala no gluten no rash. right now the rash is back and i have to figure out what I ate... -
