I also have that left-side abdominal pain,radiating to the back just underneath the ribcage. I have not had a formal diagnosis but a gluten-free diet has eliminated the other DESPERATE symptoms. What do you mean when you say the test was positive?. Does it mean antibodies to Gliadin /self were present or were present in sufficient quantities? My Gliadin IgA came back 4.3. What do posters mean when you say "MISDIAGNOSED"? Were you tested for celiac and it came back 'false negative'? The literature says it takes on average 11 years for diagnosis in America. Do they want us to believe that gastroenterologists with have decent IQs will not consider celiac when a patient complains for 11 years? Someone should fill in the gaps for... -

I have most of the classical symptoms such as abdominal pain(worse 20 mins after meals) brain fog after breakfast, skin rash, etc. The genetic test indicates that I am extremely highly predisposed to celiac. Mine appear negative so far but I can bet any doctor $1,000 that I have celiac. Which other disease shares as many as 30 symptoms with celiac? -
I am looking for one too. I do not want just another gastro who is interested in money-spinning surgery.

I have 99% of the symptoms yet my primary doctor says my IgA and ttG IgA level are within normal ranges so I cannot have celiac. My genetic test shows an extremely high risk level. I need an expert who can run all the test to either confirm or rule out celiac. I have have these mysterious symptoms for TOO LONG. Please help!!
