  2. i know exactly how you feel! I was in the same position just a few months ago. I'm 15 and I went from 130 to 84lbs in a short time. Everybody thought I had an eating disorder and I had the same symtoms as you too. I was also eating about 3,000 cals a day! A few months ago, I actually blew up like a balloon and now look almost pregnant. I've been trying...
  3. Thank you everybody!! The thing is, I have seen my doctor about all of it. All of my blood work seems normal except for some deficincies(Vitamin D and protein, etc.) I was tiny up until I was about 12, and then was a little heavier than normal, About a year and a half ago, I went low carb trying to drop a little weight, I ended up losing way too much and...
  4. Hi! I was diagnosed in February and I gained about 45 lbs in about two weeks. It's been about six months and I have only lost about 5 lbs. I wanted to gain weight originally but then blew up like a balloon. I have tried everything! I went dairy free and it didn't help, I went on a candida diet and that didnt help. I eat very healthy; mostly lean protein...
  5. I know exactly how you feel! I looked preggers too! I went from 95 lbs to 140 lbs in about four days! I just found out that I might have candida so i eliminated all fruit as well. I only eat meat, eggs, and veggies. Make sure there's no yeast! Plus, make sure you take a lot of probiotics because you're not getting any. That should help with the constipation...
  6. Hi! I'm fifteen and I was just diagnosed a few months ago..I'm a dancer so I'm also very active. It is hard for everybody and my mom always freaks out and makes sure I read everything to make sure I'm not eating anything that has gluten. For on the road, nuts are great! I always keep little packets of nuts on me, they have a lot pf protein and are nutrient...
  7. Has anybody followed a candida diet? I was diagnosed a few months ago and the weight that i have put on has still not come off. I went to a nutritionist yesterday and she recommmended a candida diet for 40 days. Anybody have thoughts?? thanks!
  8. Hi! I'm fifteen and I was just diagnosed a few months ago. One of my favorite things in the world to do is cook so I understand how hard it is to find recipes. Firstly, since your son is so young, make sure you substitute baked goods rather than eliminate them. He can have almost all ice cream that doesn't have cookie dough or brownies or cookies in...
  9. You can definitely have it! I lost about 40 pounds last year and everybody around me thought I had an eating disorder.. I did not have an eating disorder, but I refused to eat certain foods because they made me feel ill. I discovered on my own that I was sensitive. I don't have any relative who has this. In an effort to put on some weight, I tried everything...
  10. Dear Susan, I'm fifteen years old and I was diagnosed a few months ago. My mom and I live alone and we are very close. She has been the best person for me through these tough times. I have many similar problems to your daughters and many symptoms stopped after I changed my diet. One of the most important foods to check are the sauces on food. Many sauces...
