  1. A biopsy is not a "second opinion" In fact, it is the only accurate way to diagnose celiac! Just because the blood tests are positive, does not mean that you have it (although it is unlikely that you do not) I wouldn't want to go through life on this diet and not know for sure if I had celiac!   2. In response to "JoeMoe" "some" flour is extremely harmful to a celiac and I hope that you were not mislead by this! If you have celiac you absolutely cannot eat even a TRACE of gluten! Not to scare anyone, but even the slightest bit of gluten will damage your intestines, and over time lead to complications such as anemia, osteoporosis, and even cancer...
  3. Open Original Shared Link DO NOT USE THIS LIST!!! I have found far too many mistakes on it, so I would not trust it to be accurate now or ever!! I recommend buying the Clan Thompson list for PCs (it also comes in a palm pilot version) It is a pretty extensive list that gets updated frequently Open Original Shared Link.
  4. Hi, I am 17 and do a lot of cooking and baking! My parents both work so they don't have much time but I really enjoy cooking and baking! Cookies: I make cookies almost every week with Gluten Free Pantry's Old Fashioned Cake and Cookie Mix. I either add chocolate chips or coconut to the mix (my fav is coconut!) Some of my friends have been great, others make jokes about it but I guess no one really understands what I go through. It would be great to have a celiac friend who understood everything...
