The reason they are so weak is that the sorghum that replaces barley is not malted. Some are only 3.3% ABV. Only Bard's malts the sorghum for traditional beer flavor and aroma. Remember, malting is a process used in making beer. Malted sorghum is still gluten-free. Bard's is 4.6% ABV. Brian from Bard's -

We shortened the name some time ago from Bard's Tale Dragon's Gold to Bard's Gold for several reasons. Same great beer in new packaging and shorter name. Brian from Bard's
