  1. It could be another allergy, as mentioned. Come to think of it, I *did* have a soy chai drink, and dairy might be it as well, but I have some feeling that the chocolate pushed the main button. All that being said, it's irrefutable that as gluten left my diet, so did the cankers. The gastro doctor I've seen recently said cankers are not A-typical for celiac...
  2. For 15 years I have had mouth and tongue sores. Sometimes called canker sores or aphthous ulcers. Not a week would go by when I did not have a couple burning away, and at least once per month a terribly painful tongue sore that prevented me from talking or eating. I had never been diagnosed with celiac, but 3+ months ago I decided to 100% stop gluten...
