  1. Thanks everyone! The pepto did help to ease the burn a little. I can't wait to have a real doctor help me tomorrow. The doctor who diagnosed me was awful:( I will let you know what she says.
  2. Thanks! Is a headache normal too? Ironically, I have my first appointment at the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University on Thursday. The doctor that diagnosed me never really told me my biopsy results. He told me I had a hiatal (sp) hernia and Celiac. He cannot however explain anything to me. I can't wait to find someone who will really help me.

Between the awful doctor, and the nutritionist...they were a real downer. Yes, I miss my food too. I am 100% Italian...
  7. Hi everyone, I am newly diagnosed (1 month). I had a horrible experience with my diagnosis. I went to a GI suggested by my general physician who I love...and the doctor was horrible. I went in for burning in my stomach. I always was running to the bathroom, and that was part of my life. The doctor who I don't trust told me my blood work and biopsy were...
