  2. I think I might just try to make it without flour and let it simmer down to a thicker sauce and keep the water to a minimum. I used to use masa flour as a thickener, but I am corn intollerant too Thanks for the ideas everyone!
  3. I am going to be trying out a new chili recipe and am wondering what would be the best type of flour to use in my chili seasoning. I was thinking about Bob's Red Mill as it is more of a bean flour and I have had success in using it with gumbo's. Anyway, just wanted to get your ideas Thanks in advance!!!!

  5. Ewwww scary! I did forget to mention, the bulk bins I was thinking about are the type that do not have scoops, you place the bag under the spout and pull the lever and the contents pour in.

Ok, so I always steer clear from the buying anything in the bulk foods section becuase of such a high possibility of cross contamination....but today I got to thinking....would buying the rice and wild rice in bulk be ok as long as they are rinsed very well prior to cooking? Anyway, just wanted to pick your brains and see what you all thought.

  8. It's so wierd that symptoms are worse after going gluten free.... Thanks for the welcome into the forum I am the only celiac in my family and it would be nice to have other people understand and share experiences.
