  1. Hmm good news then. It's pretty disconcerting when you think you have an issue licked, but then you're back feeling like oh no it's happening again. It's a pretty big downer.
  2. Had a holiday dinner with some friends on Saturday, and since I was in the spirit of the season I decided to eat some of one of my favorite desserts: Bread Pudding. So the interesting thing was that the next day Sunday, I was fine. Felt 100% normal, same with Monday and Tuesday. However yesterday my stomach etc started bubbling and feeling slightly weird...
  3. Just to throw this into the mix, I had my appendix removed summer 2009, and this year I started a gluten free diet based on my symptoms and a meeting with my Doctor. My severe stomach cramps/gastro issues with diaharrea started to be worse post appendix removal. I definitely think they're linked, and it makes me insanely mad that doctors always parrot...
  4. Great Post! Very inspiring. I'm happy for you and your family. I've had the same problems with Doctors before. They seem to have trouble digging down deep into an issue without the patient's persistence. My Doctors over the years have just blamed my stomach issues on poor diet, and being overweight. Which doesn't contribute to people feeling good in general...
  5. I think it may be the salads I'm having with dinner that are loosening me up. Anyone else get loose from salads? I still feel way better than I did with wheat. What a huge difference. It's almost like I'm a new person. It's funny that something that is such a staple in the diets of the world such as wheat can mess so many people up so badly. There really...
  6. So I had a setback today. I had a slightly loose stool, and I got pretty discouraged. I still however am feeling much better, and can still think better. As shopgirl said I feel 0 anxiety compared to last week for example. It's quite liberating actually. When did everyone get their BM's to firm up? I'm looking forward to a time when I haven't had loose...
  7. Well... I am a worrier, and I think it's a bit warranted after years of not knowing and having these issues. :-) Any idea when I should feel 100% normal day to day? How long did it take you on a no-gluten diet to get there?
  8. Like most posts I've read here it seems many people are in the same boat I'm on. My whole life I've had difficulty with a 'sensitive' stomach, and difficult bowel movements. It's funny because I've always thought that the difficult BM's is just the way it is, and everyone is like that. Since BM's are such a taboo subject it took me living with my room mate...
