About Me
I am 25 year old female from Northwest Indiana. Diagnosed with Celiac in January of 2010. Trying to stay gluten-free although its not easy! I have a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I am also a full time college student majoring in Criminal Justice, hoping to go to law school one day. Happily married for 4 years now and just looking for fellow Celiac friends who are going through the same stuff as I am!

I had the same issues that your having, and it turns out I do have celiac, but I also have other food allergies. I had a blood work up done that showed I saw allergic to sunflower oil, cayne pepper, and anchoives really really severely. YOu need to be careful with yeast infections. A accidental "glutenning" can cause Candida, which may actually be contributing to your Fibromyalgia symptoms. So I was just wondering about something. I am currently being treated for a severe yeast infection of my gut. I am on 100mg of Diflucan once daily, and I'm about 2/3 of the way done with it. The exact same thing happened to me and it delayed my diagnosis by months. Celiac does not discriminate against height, weight, age, sex, race, or lifestyle. That doctor is an idiot and even if you do the endoscopy and it comes back positive he wont know how to help you since he obviously knows nothing about celiac disease. Thanks everyone for the suggestions I really appreciate it! My doc said it was just a severe fungal infection and I'm about 11 days into a 1 month treatment of Diflucan...I also did the MetaMetrix stool profile test and thats how I found out what had been making me sick for over 6 months...the "die off" seems to be a little bit better.
