[CI have the same problem with spots that won't tan. I would also like to know if this is related to celiac sprue. I have been diagnosed for about 10 months now and have been gluten-free for that long. Also I occasionaly have a fine rash in my mouth (no itch) . Also wonder if this related to accidental gluten from contamination. Thanks MOM ...

When it comes to cereals off the shelf(in regular grocery stores) I stay away! It has to say gluten-free before I trust the contents. Beware of contamination when it comes to the grains in cereals. Mom

Iwill do mine by e-mail also. Snail mail can also be "slow" to be read out of the snail "pile" As long as we all can send in the letters to get the message across--a variety of e-mail and snail mail(massive writing) will be great. Mom

It can take many months and even years to have normal blood results. My GI doctor has told me that with a lot of damage, normal blood resuts for iron can take a very long time to regain in the normal range. Also for other blood resuts , the same is true. Kaiti I agree! I would have been hospitalized without some supplements. I have to have iron infused this month. One must do the healthest thing possible when it comes to what is ailing you. It can months into years to heal, depending on the damage, so i will take my chances with supplements and all the gluten-free foods that are are good for you. ...

coin-op I am not sure what you mean by a waste of time. You evidenally aren't anemic. Intestinal damage creates a situation to be anemic etc. Whole grains are not on the list for the celiac as far as wheat etc. I take many supplements and eat all the best nutrition that I can (meaning fresh fruits, vegetables,browm rice etc.) I would imagine that...
