  1. I haven't had any corn in a long time and I live by myself so I'm not sharing any cookware with gluten eaters. That's good. Ok so you have heard that you START to heal after six months?. Three more months to go if thats the case. I left a blood sample a couple of weeks ago and they didn't find any gluten antibodies in it. I suppose thats a good thing...
  2. Thanks for all your replies! I haven't been eating any corn and I cook only dried beans which I rinse. I haven't had any tapioca or other starch either in the past month and no antibiotics since 2005.I'm not taking any meds at all. I'm only eating whole foods. I'm feeling better today and I didn't eat a lot of beans. I've just eaten a big meal...
  3. Hi mushroom! No you're not too personal its ok with me I'm a bit constipated or "slow" in my stomach...for lack of a better term. I'm having bowel movements everyday tho'. I haven't tried digestive enzymes yet! Do you recommend them strongly? My doctor didn't say anything about digestive enzymes but I wasn't that bloated then but I didn't eat as...
  4. Oh how sweet of you! I really like the people in these forums! Yes it sounds exactly like the way I feel right now. It feels better when I'm on my couch with my laptop on my belly! I don't have a lot of time to eat on my job so I make up for that when I'm getting home I think... I've been a bit constipated too but its getting better...the bloating...
  5. Hi ravenwoodglass and thanks for your reply. I'm actually eating whole unprocessed gluten free foods and I've been doing that the whole time. I did try gluten free bread two times...in december. I haven't had any dairy or soy since 19th of november so that can't be the problem either....so I don't know why I'm feeling like a balloon.
  6. Hi I've now been gluten free for almost three months and my appetite has been ravenous since day one(I guess thats good)but I've been extremely bloated in the evenings and my belly has been feeling really huge and gross the last two weeks. I'm pretty sure that I'm not getting any gluten from somewhere. What's going on? Shouldn't my guts be pretty healed...
  7. Hi! I've been glutenfree for almost three months now and I had similar withdrawal symptoms to your symptoms the first month. I had a lot of panic attacks, freaked out on an airpane and stuff and a burning sensation in my tummy and throat. I've been having the burning sensations on and off since but not very often.I've been very hungry all the time and bloated...
  8. Thanks for the reply. Yes that might be the case..I'm not sure if they're using the same methods here in Sweden but I guess they do. I didn't get any symptoms when I ate some unsalted chicken two weeks ago so it might be the iodized salt or the process you mentioned.....or it might be BOTH! I agree, the gluten is everywhere but I react within...
  9. Ok so it might go away. I read yesterday that iodine can re-activate remaining gluten antibodies that you have in your body so that might be the case for me. I also have DH on my arms and got a flare after eating the chicken. It must be the iodine in the salt since the chicken was heavy salted.
  10. The last two times I've eaten chicken I've gotten an almost instant allergic reaction with increased heart rate, burning sensation in my mouth and so on. No more chicken for me that's for sure! I've never had this reaction before and I don't know why I'm having it now. According to the back of the chicken package they add salt but nothing else. I'm wondering...
  11. I've got the same problem as you but I've only been gluten free for a little over a month so far so it might go away....or not. If I'm sitting normal after I've eaten I get very bloated and even some brain fog. If I'm being upright, leaning or lying down I can avoid it. I've figured that if I stretch my back, legs, hips and so on after I've eaten I'm able...
  12. Hi! Actually I've got an issue with dairy but it might change since it's only the last months I've had a problem with it...and it seems to be the lactose. I'll add some more meat to my meals....some chicken too. I'll buy some nut butters and fish oil. I'm glad nothing is wrong with my appetite.Everything tastes better than ever and that's a good...
  13. I'm eating some sunflower seeds and cashew nuts. I've also added some cooking oil to my rice....and coconut oil. I haven't tried nut butters. I'll have to try that! Sometimes I cook some quinoa in the evening.
  14. I'm eating 5-6 times a day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then I eat leftovers from the dinner later in the evening. I have a snack or two between all these meals...usually an apple or some rice noodles I'm not sure how you measures fluids and things over there since I'm living in Scandinavia...so I'll write it in litres and grams. I drink about 1,5...
  15. Hi! I've been on a gluten and dairy free diet for 50 days now. I immediately started to lose some weight when I took up this diet and I'm still losing some.I was lightweight even before....so now I'm super skinny. I've mostly lost fat (or something) around my waist and hips but even some in my face. The good thing is that I feel a lot better but look...
  16. It feels good to hear that other people have been getting those kind of feelings from L-glutamine because it sounds a bit weird to me....BUT there are a lot of weird symptoms in this whole celiac thing so I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. The multivitamin I'm taking right now has som fish oil in it so I hope that'll do. Yeah I must have been malabsorbing...
  17. Hi! I've been gluten and dairy free for almost a month now. I felt amazing the first few days but then I started to have panic attacks and felt very irritated both in my head and in my stomach. I'm feeling better now. All the problems seem to go way when I'm eating fish...especially salmon. I almost feel a rush when consuming fish. It's a similar rush...
