There are support groups in CT- there is one that meets in Manchester, I have the email of one of the women who runs it if interested. -
My sister goes to RPI in Troy, NY, and here are few places that we have tried when I have been up to visit her. Nunzio's in Saratoga Springs- 119 Clinton Street has pizza. You have to call ahead, but the owner also mentioned that she had made gluten-free meatballs and chicken parm in the past, so call ahead. The pizza was very good. Sherry Lynn's Bakery...

The Eggs Up Grill is in Portland, CT on Rt. 66. The owner has celiac disease. She has a separate gluten free menu that is not kept at the tables, so make sure to ask for it. Last time I had breakfast there she said she was trying to do a different gluten free special each weekend, the previous one had been gluten-free apple cinnamon pancakes.

Have you considered other options besides 'brown bagging it' to the wedding? You didn't mention who it was that is getting married... but I know when my older cousin got married last summer, she gave my mom and I the number of the woman in charge of the reception, and my mom and I arranged for a dinner that we could both safely eat--- and neither of us had...

Beverly, have you checked to make sure that the new medication that you are on is in fact gluten free? Also dairy and yeast? This could be why you are having some of those symptoms.
