Thanks both for your advise, it has been really helpful. I just wish I would be taken seriously by medical people! Thankfully this latest doctor has said that even if the bloods come back as normal, he will still refer me to a gasteronologist to get further help as he is know agreeing that it doesn't appear to just be standard IBS.
