  1. Thanks for the info. I am seeing a new GI doctor on Friday afternoon. My colonscopy biopsy stuff also showed "chronic mucosal injury". I have been eating as normally as I can which means I haven't been limiting any food so I should have enough gluten in me.
  2. I've had severe diahrea since March and have had a colonscopy and been put on antibiotics, Librax and Nexium. Nothing has worked. I also have Lupus and recently had my prednisone increased which slightly helped my diahrea but now that I am tapering down the diahrea is back again. My GI doctor says I need to just live with it as everything is "normal" so...
  3. He said because the second blood test came back negative there was no point in checking for Celiac's. He did the colonoscopy because of all of the diahrea but feels ulimately it is just IBS and that I am going to have to live with it but I just don't see why I should have to live with diahrea for the rest of my life. I'm supposed to be on the e.coli antibiotics...
  4. They wouldnt do an endoscopy because they said it wasnt necessary!!!! I will try and get a copy of my blood tests though. I was tested for c. diff also. Does it sound like celiacs?
  5. I am a 35 year old with Lupus that has had diahrea for 3 months now. It came on very suddenly and I have it every morning without fail about 2-3 times and then usually am OK the rest of the day. Sometimes if I eat during the day then I will get it again during the day. I had stool tests, blood tests and a colonscopy. They put me on meds for heartburn...
  6. Well, my bloodwork came back negative so I guess it isn't Celiacs but the medication for the IBS is not working so now I have to have colonscopy. For now, the gi doctor just wants me to take Imodium every 4-6hrs to stop the diahrea until I go for the colonscopy next week.
  7. Any other thoughts as to what this could be besides Celiac's?
  8. Lisa, I hope you get your results soon and that you get some relief. They gave me an anti-spasmadic medicine to see if that helps my stomach and it is doing absolutely nothing for me. I've also started getting cramping in my stomach every so often which I didn't have before. I'm going to try and go tomorrow and get the bloodwork that my doctor...
  9. to be honest, I have no idea what he ran...He just said that my IgA came back low and wanted to run some more to confirm Celiac's and was going to send the prescription out to me ASAP.
  10. I am a 35 year old mother of 2 children who has Lupus and has never really had any stomach problems aside from constipation until about 8 weeks ago. Beginning about 8 weeks, I basically woke up and started having diahrea and severe bloating on a daily basis. Each morning I have about 2-3 bouts of diahrea and as soon as I put anything in my mouth I get bloated...
