  1. That is what I am doing right now. My wellness Dr put me on a 30 day detox and it is pretty much what you are eating except I eat meat. It's been kinda rough but I have found Spaghetti squash to me a favorite of mine now:) I was diagnosed with Celiac a couple of months ago and stopped eating gluten right away, but I have so much inflammation they can't...
  2. That is really great advice! thanks! I am really struggling with the expense of everything. A small bag of brown rice pasta is like $3.50! The regular kind is like $1.00 ..LOL everything is so much more expensive. I bought a very small loaf of bread and it was $7.00! it literally made 4 sandwiches. I am now baking my own bread but the box was still $4.50...
  3. Yep! I've made everything in my same skillet I used for everything before. My husband makes dinner for him and my son and then I make my own..LOL I guess I need my own skillet too! Thanks! I didn't realize I could not use my regular old pans.
  4. I had a hamburger helper meal that said "Gluten free" on the box. It was a rice dish and I made it with turkey. I had some corn tortillas. I do share a PB jar with my son. Thats all I can think of. I had a couple of french fries too. Other than that I can't think of anything.
  5. UGH! So today I woke up and my rash is back! I mush have eaten something with Gluten in it as I have been soooo tired and feel horrible today. I have been staying away from breads and pasta etc, and I don't eat anything that says whole wheat flour in the ingredients. Am I missing something? Is there some other ingredient I should stay away from? Thanks
  6. Yeah, I think that is why they want to do it. It's not scheduled yet, I am scheduled to see another specialist. They did several blood tests specific to Celiac and they were positive. I'm not going to eat Gluten anymore. After less than a week I feel a million times better and my rash is almost totally gone! My dad had crohn's disease, and cancer after that...
  7. Thank you for all the great feedback! I was not told to eat gluten for the Colonoscopy, it was actually the opposite. I was told " Gluten is your enemy" do not eat it! LOL She just wants me to have one to see how bad my damage is, and to make sure there isn't anything else going on. Ya, I hope I am just sedated and put out totally. It's going to be next...
  8. I have to schedule my colonoscopy and endoscopy tomorrow. I am FREAKING OUT about it! some people say you are out out for it, and that is what I am most fearful of. Ever since I was little, I have had this fear of being put to sleep and never waking up. <sigh>
  9. Hi, I'm Amy and was diagnosed today with Celiac. I have been told for over a year that my rashes all over were Psoriosis. After feeling horrible for a very long time, I went on a cleanse/fast for 5 days. I felt amazing and my rashes were gone! The day I started eating again I felt horrwible! I called my Dr and told her and she had an "A Ha!" moment. FINALLY...
