ARCHIVED Avorastatin Drug And Celiac Reaction

I was diagnosed over 5 years ago as a celiac. My doctor prescribed atorvastatin and I started it. After 23 days I had a severe reaction. The pharmacy called the manufacturer who stated that they were NOT a gluten free facility. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I will see my doctor tomorrow to see if he has a safe brand for me to take. -

In addition, I just checked their website for this information and they say it contains crisp rice which has malt and is thus it is not gluten-free. ccubed
