I believe there is absolutely a connection!! I've had the tongue, mouth & throat sores for most of my 38 years of life. A couple of times diagnosed as canker sores or a herpes virus, then fishered tongue, & geographic tongue. I have Crohn's Disease, & after lots of specialists & GI Dr's etc it was told to me that it makes perfect sense......
