Hi, I'm new to gluten free and egg free, also just started dairy and soy free in the hope that my intestines will stop complaining. No joy yet. I was about to chew on some Nairn's oat biscuits (Scottish) which advertise 'wheat free' on the front of the pack. Still holding the offending item to my lips I just-in-time spotted the detail on the back below... -

Thanks, I'll check it, but will avoid all soy for now as my gut hasn't settled yet. I'm really keen to check out hormonal imbalances and parasites, etc after my new consultant recommended I download and read this guy's book - Open Original Shared Link The book is an eye opener and fascinating, as I can see myself in it. I'll let you know how it goes with... -

Sorry to hear of your upset. I had a similar thing on the 26th Feb. I'm only 1 mth into (trying to be) gluten free, but the dads of the other birthday celebrator are not my relatives, and their son was 2 the same day I was 43, so I suppose it shouldn't have been a surprise. Hi, in fact the blood test was before going gluten free - I had no clue why my abdomen was so sore. Since then the improvements have been there, but as I'm pretty new to a gluten free diet it's hard to stick to it. It really has to be worked at, it seems. More than 24 hours after my couscous accident last night, my belly is still swollen and uncomfortable... -
