We do routinely track her height since she is on daily injections of growth hormone. But I will definitely make a gluten-free mark on her chart. I am just hoping she will gain some weight. She is only 40 lbs and will be 9 in July. Did you see any weight gain once going gluten free? -

We just finished our first week of being gluten free for our 8 year old. She missed some of her regular food but overall she did great. New to Gluten free so this was my first attempt to make this or any bread in a breadmaker. I followed directions on the box (2 eggs, 1.75 cups of water, and 4 tbsp. of oil) but it overflowed. She has been on the medical testing roller coaster for 3 years and I am ready for her to get off. I feel like we have our answers - gluten sensitivity. Skylark, we are starting her on Gluten Free diet this weekend. I have so much hope that this will help her!!! Kristy -

So I have been in overdrive trying to learn as much as I can about gluten sensitivity and have a question about triggers. My 8 year old daughter is adopted from China and has a whole lot of medical issues. Thanks Skylark for your reply. I did not ask the doctors for specifics on her tests since they came out negative. She has had so many tests that I have lost count. When she got negative results, I just checked that off the list and moved on to the next possible explanation. I plan to get her medical records from her GI doc before we find another. During... -
