  1. The doctor did instruct us to do a low lactose diet while she heals. So we've replaced milk with Pediasure (also to serve as a supplement to her diet because she's not gaining weight) but I do still give her yogurt and cottage cheese. I am willing to try anything because you're absolutely right about it being horrible watching my little one suffer. Thanks...
  2. Thanks so much for reading and responding! My daughter was tested for several food allergies before we knew she had celiac disease, and everything came back normal. But I'm really questioning it again. We're meeting with her GI this week, so I'll bring it up again.
  3. Hello, I'm new and have some questions... My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease (in November 2011) when she was 22 months. We immediately went gluten-free and it's been almost 4 months now. Her main symptoms prior to the diagnosis were vomiting, recurrent illnesses, tiredness, irritability, weight loss, distended belly, and iron deficiency...
