  1. This brand of Chipotles is NOT gluten free. I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed that they are not gluten free. She suspicious ingredients are spices AND vinegar. Vinegar is often made from grain, so it cannot be assumed that vinegar is safe. You must have gotten lucky if this didn't make you sick. I wouldn't chance it again.
  2. The one I usually go to has a separate fryer. I guess I'm spoiled by that location and I assumed... I won't assume next time! I only got diagnosed a month ago, so I'm learning.
  3. Glutened by Wendy's!!! Don't get me wrong. I've had many a safe meal at Wendy's, but I went to one that's in a, how shall I put this, more ghettoey neighborhood than the one I usually go to and now I'm sick. I was paying more attention to the tv than to my fries when I put something delicious and crunchy in my mouth! I looked down to see fried chicken...
  4. Thanks, ladies!!! Great advice!
  5. That sounds to me like you might have an underactive thyroid. When is the last time you had a thyroid panel done? If it has been more than 6 months, I recommend asking your doctor to run one. It's a very simple blood test. If you have hypothyroidism, a small pill once a day will make you feel A LOT better! Good luck!
  6. Hello! I was diagnosed with Celiac about a month ago. After a brief mourning period, I pulled myself up by the bootstraps and decided I can handle anything! That's very easy to do when I'm at home and able to cook whatever I want with a few modifications. Not so easy to do when I'm not home. I have been glutened by three restaurants in the past 2 weeks...
