  1. Daughter prescribed omeprazole 10 mg. called pharmacy to see if it had gluten in it and they said didn't look like it but I should call manufacturer. Whose responsible for that? I guess ultimately me just frustrating that they don't take time to be concerned.
  2. We have been on this gluten free path since February of this year. Initial blood work came back at 141. Six month check blood work at 55 which I think is awesome. Now I feel more confused with the food shopping then when I first started. For example grocery stores employees won't say it's gluten free unless it's on the label saying gluten free. Yet...
  3. Spell check took over and I failed to realize it. She had the biopsy in feb and confirmed it was celiac. She has been gluten free since then. She is due for her first blood test beginning of June and I want to make sure that if I am taking blood that I have them run it for everything. Her vitamin d was just a bit low but is there anything else that I...

  5. Not that I am aware of. It is in Oregon. They say they deal with celiac all the time. However, I still am anxious. Not sure what I will do.
  6. Thank you for your advice. It is actually 4 days 3 nights. I have a call to the cook and waiting for a return call. She really wants to go but she is getting where she is feeling better. 12 years old and 66 pounds I don't want her sick again. Thanks again your understanding an advice is helpful
  7. Thank you for that advice. I don't want to be perinoid but I don't want her to get sick again. Thank you so much.
  8. New to board and needing help. I have a daughter who was diagnosed in February and now it is time for 6th grade outdoor school. I am very nervous to send her as I don't want her to get sick from potential cross contamination. Any thoughts as to send her or not. She has severe reactions to gluten. Just now getting her to feel better. Thanks so much.
