  1. Oh boo! The bloodwork has come back negative which means that I will need to go onto the scope if it is decided I need an official diagnosis. I don't need one but my husband would prefer that I got one. The thing is that I'm sure I am gluten-intolerant. Perhaps Celiac as too much fits. I really was hoping for a positive result. I won't see the results...
  2. Lots to consider. This is an outdoor wedding with the reception at a legion hall a day's travel away. I simply will not call or trust them. I also know for a fact that the plate cost is included in the hall rental fee. As in it is a set rate per guest. So they'll be paying x fee no matter what. In this situation I am going to leave it...
  3. Thanks everyone!
  4. I'm still at the 'pre-diagnosis stage so I feel unsure how to approach this upcoming wedding we are attending. I have debated calling the bride and telling her not to order me a dinner because I'll bring my own food. I have then felt she would likely try to accommodate me and I just don't trust wedding hall staff. There are too many variables and...
  5. Going on three weeks of waiting here. I had a 'day surgery' two weeks ago and choose to go gluten free to heal. I am in a quandary now. My doctor promised that if my blood work comes back positive that I would not have the biopsy. I had requested that he book a scope right away but he said no for that reason. I am feeling that the choice I made to...

Like the fibromyalgia symptoms, the arthritis symptoms, and so much more. I had menstrual problems, a miscarriage, migraines, anemia, blah, blah, blah. 2. Also yes. I would bring home the bread from...
  7. Thank you. I shall have to exercise patience some more then.
  8. I'm waiting on my blood work and am getting very impatient. I'm in Ontario and was told that my sample would get shipped away for testing as it is not done in town. I'm just curious because when I called in I was told it can take 30 days. Is this common?
