  1. Unfortunately, the kids have already been off gluten for about 2 weeks.... would a blood test still show positive if they've been off gluten? Based on my symptoms, the rash, autoimmunity, etc, I feel pretty convinced that I could be a full blown celiac, so I want to make sure I do this right by my kids. I grew up a foster kid, and unfortunately had no opportunity...
  2. Thanks Janet, for your reply. I'm not too worried about a formal diagnosis, especially for myself. It's become pretty obvious that I have reactions to gluten, and now dairy. Whether that is celiac, I don't know. We have foregone getting a diagnosis from a doctor and have opted to do an elimination diet. It's only been 6 days, but I feel like I have seen...
  6. Hey everyone. I'm new and have a few questions/want to vent without being told I'm crazy! Our short story is that all of our kids have had stomach issues forever. Each of them had month long bouts of diarrhea as babies and toddlers, with stools that burned their skin off. Then, as they've gotten older (from about 3 on) the three bigger kids have had...
