I have been diagnosed with Celiac since June 2011. I was sick for a few years before they finally figured out what was wrong with me. I am a current student at the University of Louisville and I also work in the admissions office there. I am a very social person so don't be afraid to talk to me (I won't bite I promise). (:

Hey! I am also 19 and have never met anyone else with Celiac. I have only been diagnosed for about a year and a half now and it is definitely a challenge when trying to go out to eat with friends (or like you said explaining to potential boyfriends). It would definitely be nice to have someone who understands to talk to. -
