  3. What a sweet thread. It sound to me like it takes educating our family members just as much as ourselves. The more others RESPECT the gluten-free lifestyle, the easier it will be for everyone.
  4. I get puffy eyes, not so much face. It's really weird too because sometimes it's so severe that it feel like my eyelid gets "stuck" to my eye brow area. LOL But yes, I get puffy eyes, and some tingling in my face.
  5. I hope it's not extra virgin, otherwise it goes rancid. EVOO can't take heat. Come to think of it, yes, they do fry other things in the oil. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a bit of chicken or something in my fries!
  6. I almost hate to ask, but do you experts know if French Fries from say MCDonald's or Sonic are gluten free?
  7. I totally agree with this one!! I see so many kids (I'm a teacher) with very conscious parents who even recognize sensitivities. I had my son tested (IGe) and he came back negative, but I avoid giving him dairy and gluten when possible.

  10. My naturopathic Dr. had told me to get off gluten earlier this year. I did so - on and off. :-) You know how that goes right? Well, one reason was because of adrenal fatigue.
