Can anyone here who has had celiac a long time and then went gluten-free how long it took for the intestinal tract to heal? Did it hurt sorely while healing and what other symptoms did you experience? Thanks for any input. Sun -

Hi, I am wondering if there is a list of hidden gluten in cosmetics. I have not worn any in many years due reactions. The Bare Escentuals are fine but the lips are too thick for me and I want a light lip stick and the eyeshadow wears off so fast it's not worth putting on, I guess a good concealer might help it stay but I am so paranoid of puffy eyes I... -

Great information! My nails have been like this since I was in my late 20's and I always thought they looked so old and nastey and of course have since gotten much worse to the point I hide my hands when I think of it..ahaha...nails crack split right down the middle and sides of the nailbed and I have the beau ridges but I knew that was from chronic illness... -

I've been gluten-free free for four weeks and I have been violently ill most of this time except the first week when I felt pretty good. I do have a long history of being very ill with chronic congestion, lymph nodes swollen, antibody deficient etc. so perhaps it is why. I have had an extremely clean organic diet for many years so it's not a lot of detox...
