  1. I think I just might have found myself a new interest.

  2. Can't win 'em all, but you can win 99.9%. lol

  3. If there's one thing I have taken away from this presidential race, it's that there is a serious and equal divide in our country (there hasn't been a race this close for over 70 years). The president knows it, too. For his second term to look and function any better than the counter-productive last four, he'll have to "reach across the table", which means he'll have to allow republicans to put their hands back on America, significantly - and not only for his plans to work, but also for the ot...

  4. Regardless of what happens today, I'm glad to know that half - or more - of the American people understand what's really going on with Obama, and aren't afraid to think for themselves. Mitt Romney, you are the epitome of a true American leader! Thank you for standing up for America.

  5. So, since I've lost a good eight pounds from obvious steatorrhoea, which has been confirmed, aside from taking Creon, what kind of things should I do to help myself gain/keep weight? Less sugar consumption? Less fat intake? I have started eating more, and increasing my caloric intake to between 2500-3000 calories a day. I already have a fast metabolism, and...
  6. What saddens me is, so many people in America don't vote on the intellectual, principal, and fundamental premises required to truly give them the ability to understand the depth and reason of the candidates. You don't give a police officer a gun and a badge unless they can prove they understand how to use either, and the same should follow with voting. Many people simply vote for a candidate based on a blind movement of what everyone else is doing in their circle, rather than what they actual...

  7. ...on a gluten-free diet before you begin noticing your symptoms getting better? I'm curious, since I've had loose stools for the last eight years. Do you still have diarhea even while not eating gluten, and is this just part of it? Or, at some point, does your villi repair itself and you no longer have it at all? Something tells me I'll always have loose...
  8. I do have fillings, actually. But I'm not sure if that's it. Here's what I've done to test if it really is gluten making the taste: For the last three days I've had close to no gluten, and I've had no joint problems, and little to no tasting of metallic tasting in my mouth. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to eat exactly what caused my problem of tasting metallic...
  9. I'm not sure, but because all of my other results came back negative, maybe they didn't see a need to run anymore blood test. But, here's what I'm thinking. According to my doctor, and how he explained it, people that suffer from celiac disease have an allergy to gluten, so its like when a person is allergic to something and their throats start to swell,...
  10. I have a question to ask in regards to another symptom I've been reluctant to ask because I think people think I'm crazy when I mention it. After eating something, I sometimes have a metallic taste in my mouth that is mild to moderate, and goes away after a little while. I originally asked my family doctor about it and he tested me for various metal poisonings...
  11. I know this sounds odd, but I don't notice so much of the oily residue floating in the toilet bowl as much when I'm eating fatty foods as I do if I eat a bowl of oatmeal the morning of. In other words, I feel like I see more oily residue when I have oats. Anyway, I'm just worried. My doctor left me completely in the dark, and I'm just at a loss. My weight...
  12. Thank you so much guys for your replies. I've tried Crohns and UC forums and when I input my symptoms, no one responds. I thought I was alone until I seen your replies. I also forgot all about the Celiac site until now (short-term memory, apparently). But, let me add a little more to this thread and see if you guys can still relate. Hopefully you can, cause...
  13. We have no right to ask when sorrow comes, "Why did this happen to me?" unless we ask the same question for every moment of happiness that comes our way. ~Author Unknown

  15. So, my question is, does anyone here have fatty stools?
  16. So, I've had ibs symptoms for about eight years now, referring to loose stools. Over the last two yeras I've experienced a little weight loss (8 pounds), and been through a variety of blood tests. My family doctor told me he didn't see anything in my blood tests that looked suspicious, and he even tested my blood for celiac disease, which came back negative...
