  1. Adding a few recipes and the only good Fasano-compliant dessert that I've made (besides plain fruit/smoothies): Homemade sausage: add whatever you like in sausage (roast garlic, onions, jalapenos, etc) and some fresh herbs (sage and thyme are classics). Follow the steps in the gyro recipe above. Voila, sausage Halal cart chicken, omit coriander...
  2. That's also my assessment, that it seems unlikely, but I have no earthly idea what else could've caused it. Thanks for the reply
  3. This might sound crazy, but I'm having a mini DH flare up, and it is unmistakably DH. I haven't eaten anything different, nor have I eaten anything prepared outside my fully gluten-free apartment, so I was wondering if it was possible to be glutened by those paper party horns that are passed out at NYE parties. Maybe wheat adhesive?
  4. Does anyone know if there is any certified gluten-free Xanthan Gum out there? I can't seem to find any. Or any that those of you who are sensitive trust?
  5. Has anyone tried Iya Foods flours and starches? They're certified, but by GFFP https://glutenfreefoodprogram.com/, which I have never heard of.
  6. Thanks! I forgot about King Arthur, I'll definitely have to try some. Unfortunately they don't look like they sell anything but blends? Anyone ever tried Iya Foods? Looks somewhat promising
  7. Are there any certified gluten-free flours, or flours produced in dedicated facilities, or flours that those of you who are super sensitive do not react to? The more I read about Bob's Red Mill, the less inclined I am to trust them. Anthony's says they at least test to 20ppm, but I'd pay more for more assurances. Bonus if the brand you like sells...
  8. I recently put myself on the Fasano Diet. I kept getting DH outbreaks and couldn't figure it out so I wanted to reduce my exposure as much as possible. I like to cook and eat, and I was a little nervous to do this, especially without being able to use spices. However, it hasn't been bad at all, and I've learned some new things. I wanted to share some recipes...
  9. I tried getting in contact with Costco customer service, but they said they didn't have info on it. It's the Jasmine rice from Costco that comes in 25 and 50 lb bags. Does anyone have any info on if it's safe for Celiacs?
  10. I was diagnosed with Celiac about 3 months ago. I never had any symptoms, and was only diagnosed because a family member was. As soon as I found out I went gluten free. Two Saturdays ago (9 days) I had a little to drink, and not thinking about it, ate two burritos on flour tortillas. The next morning, I had a large, red, raised rash on my left inner thigh...
