I have been told numerous times it was all in my head. There really is a lack of education about celiac and its side effects. My wife really does not get it. For me the diet has made a world of difference in a short period of time. I have been gluten free for just two weeks and my stomch is noticeably better. Your not crazy and now you have proof.

If you could beat it to the punch then it is worth the time. The endo is a quick and painless exam. I was diagnosed a week ago and am so happy to have an answer as to why I have been feeling so bad. I was given a endo yesterday and was told that I have a mild case of celiac along with mild gastritis. I am also slightly anemic. I am guessing this adds up to celiac. So my question is this - For each of you. I am just looking to get a handle on this thing and what it means. As a heavy gluten eater before this - i wonder is I has symptoms and did not notice...
