  1. Thank you for the info. If I could have dairy, the gluten free diet would be a lot easier.
  2. Thank you for this information. Does specificity mean that it is 93 to 96 % accurate at predicting people with Celiacs when confirmed by endoscopy? As for liver function, I have my liver function tested every three months due to some of the meds I take for my Crohn's. I also forgot to mention that I was very deficient in Vitamin D.
  3. you can only be responsible for yourself. If your friend has made this choice, she will have to deal with the consequenses. If she is a good friend, be their to support her as necessary. I know how you feel about being alone as I don't know anyone else that has to be gluten free.
  4. I am in the same boat as you. One of the surprises for me was that Soy Sauce contains gluten unless you buy gluten free. So do many asian sauces. I spent a lot more time food shopping in order to shop gluten free. Once suggestion my mother in law had that worked was to go to customer service at the supermarket and ask for a list of gluten free foods they...
