  1. I'm really really excited about this. It's been a year since I first came on this forum thinking that I had celiac disease. Here's my original post: https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/102899-do-i-have-celiac-disease/ And it's been 7 months since I came back on here complaining of my symtoms not going away completely: https://www.celiac.com...
  2. Turns out the thing that was still making me feel a little sick was soy. I've cut that out and now I'm feeling much better. So now the list is: no gluten, no dairy, no soy, and I'm not sure about nuts... I suspect they don't agree with me either. It limits my food, but it's pretty awesome feeling almost 100% again now.
  3. I don't think it's oats, because I drink oat milk and seem fine afterwards. There's lots for me to keep in mind from here on out. I think it's just a matter of eliminating things and then re-introducing them one by one to see what gives me a reaction. Is it worth getting a colonoscopy done to check to see if there are any other issues with my digestive...
  4. Thanks for all the replies. Some really good ideas. I think maybe cross contamination could be a problem. I swear though it seems every processed food makes me sick. Last night I thought I would try something new and tried a gluten free, nut free, dairy free berry bar made with corn, rice, and soy. And 2 hours after eating it I started feeling unwell, I went...
  5. I posted a while ago about my symptoms. Lots of digestive issues, feeling sick in the stomach all day long, etc... It's been about 5 months since I've gone gluten free and I'm feeling much much much better. I was tested for celiac, my IGA IGLA IGGGGG or whatever the heck they all are, they were all normal. So the doctor said I didn't have celiac disease...
  6. I read this: "IGA gliadin and IGA endomysial tests are the most accurate" So at this stage I'm pretty much just going to go in and ask for those tests and ask what the doctor thinks about it all. I also just read that geographic tongue is common with celiac disease, and that actually started for me at about the same times as my other symptoms. So...
  7. Thanks for the reply. I also forgot to mention that I've lost 11kg of muscle over the past year as well and am pretty skinny now. I find it very hard to put on weight and maintain it. I'm booked in to see the doctor on Friday. Lets see how it goes...
  8. Hi everyone, the more I read about Celiac disease the more I think I might have it. My symptoms: -Dairy intolerant, even lactose free milk gives me problems. -For the last couple of years if I wake up early in the morning I have very bad nausea. -I haven't had a solid bowel movement for probably 12 months. -Stomach cramps, gas, and...
