Hi all I went to see my GI today who ordered the celiac blood panel. Now, I haven't ate Gluten in about 4 days, and I've read here that you should eat gluten before the test. When I brought this up my doctor said that it takes a couple weeks to get in and out of the system so 4 days should be fine. I just wanted to see what others experience/thoughts...

Thanks for the insights! I am seeing a GI doctor on Fri - hopefully I can get a test or other answers. Does the blood test require any fasting before hand? How long does it take to analyze the results?

Hi, I have been having abdominal issues for awhile now, and I am so tired of it, and nobody can figure out what's wrong with me. It's so frustrating I am wondering if it could be celiacs? My doctor says the blood test is really expensive, so its better to just "try not eating gluten and see how you feel" - which Ill do but still... Abdominal...
