last I checked my thyroid was fine and everything else too, I think the biggest culprit in the house is the friggen bread. I cant control the crumbs my kids are insanely picky eaters and their dietician recommended against gluten free eating for them for fear they wouldn't eat anything at all (anyway that's another topic) I just wish I could do away with...

So I never used to worry about cross contamination since small amounts didn't bother me. but for the last few weeks I find myself grouchy and in a fog all the time at the smallest contamination I understand that I am crossing somewhere and I have to learn to working around sharing a kitchen surface but my question is why does it matter now and not before...

no they don't have to label them as gluten free or indicate if it may contain wheat, its up to me to read, and most of them have artificial flavouring witch I don't trust

this was their reply Thank you for contacting us. Nestlé Canada is committed to the safety and well-being of our consumers; including those with food allergies. I know they seem to indicate only one or two have gluten but when I contact them they just said they couldn't guarantee they weren't at all

ARCHIVED Imprisonment - Choosing Starvation Over Bread?
Patt replied to esgal's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Omg! Really! 1) by deciding to move there of her own free will (witch God gave her) she "IS" prepared to die 2) do you really think they care what she eats? never mind the living conditions. They'll just throw her in a hole and feed her moldy food -
did it again with potato vodka. I am happy with the results Im sticking with it

haha no I can drink a bit. obviously ppl get hangovers but that time it was really like drinking a bottle of benadryl and being drowsy and foggy. I feel great today. lets see if tomorrow is just as good

Ok well for my own peace of mind I decided to go all out. I found a store that carries potato vodka. and I totally overdid it (love these experiments ) anyway this morning I am left with a headache and sore joints. id say this is a clean hangover because from past experience this is the way I always feel when I overdo the rum for the sake of consistency...

this kind says its made with rye. i just thought it would have been filtered out where the store clerk said it was gluten-free?
-
Anyone have issues with sabiosky vodka? I asked the store clerk for potato vodka and he said they didn't carry any. But said this kind was gluten free even though it's made from grain. I don't know if it's just my imagination but the last 3 days I can't stay awake. Any thoughts? Experiences?

hmmm i did want to hurl for about 30 minutes, it was the spiced rum that stuck with me. wayy to sweet for my taste what confuses me is it didnt feel like a hangover? I just felt depressed and anxious and angry. this is why I was leaning towards gluten rather than hangover. with a hangover my joints always hurt from dehydration, weird as that sounds -
