Ok thanks for your reactions! I did some 'internet-research' and I could't find any connection between coffee filters and gluten, so I consider them ok from now on, except for the papery taste that is.

I'm a recently diagnosed celiac, and I'm still learning about de do's and don'ts.(learningcurve is steep though thanks to this forum) I 'm wondering: if gluten are used for the fabrication of glue, could it be that the glue used in paper coffeefilters contain gluten? Thanks, Bob
